    Walking strengthens your leg, stomach, and, if you pump your arms, even arm muscles. By extending your range of motion, you put less strain on your joints and more weight on your muscles which results in strengthen the muscles. When i walk i usually try to engage all of my body muscles so to make them strong.

    The primary muscles used in walking include the quadriceps and hamstrings, although walking does not build big bulky muscles it does strengthen those muscles.

    I try to shuffle the places I walk to improve my muscle strength. Sometimes walk on inclined place.
