My staff tells me that many of our System students want to know about my daily schedule.
This is interesting because I am a very private person. That means I don’t make a big deal about my habits, etc. online.
I posted a brief version of this on Twitter (“X”) but here is a more fleshed-out version.
All times are EST.
5-5:30 – Meditation – I do this while my brain is still in the Theta state. Also, I don’t use any of the popular meditation apps.
5:35-6:35 – Spend 45 minutes on my rowing machine and about 15 minutes doing yoga (in my home gym).
6:45 – 7:00 – I take a long shower with a 5-minute cold finish.
7:00 to 7:30 – With a cold glass of clean water I go to my balcony and drink it as I look over my 10-acre estate and give thanks for my life! (Although I consider myself very lucky it took much trial and error to get to this point).
8:00 – Noon – This is where I do my “deep work” (popularized by Cal Newport). This is when I write, listen to podcasts, and receive updates from my staff (this is also when I hear about interesting comments from our System students).
12:30 – 2:00 – I take a long walk in nature. Since I do IF this is my time of day to eat. Usually, I go to Whole Foods (because of their extensive hot and cold salad bar).
3:00 – 7pm – This is when I spend time with my family and friends, and more time with staff on phone calls and work on new projects. All of my staff are virtual and some of them have come from Jeff’s YHC program. This is the hunk of my day where most of my “work” is done.
8:00 – 10pm – Now I am winding down. My days are very productive and I love my life. I will watch some TV, do some reading from a hard copy book, and drop off to sleep at 10pm.
Thanks to all that asked!
