    I am certain about one thing that walking burns calories and also makes us sweat which in turn is a mode of eliminating waste from the body as well as regulating body temperature. And of course oxygen levels are increased during walking.

    My breathing has improved with walking and I do not become short of breath as used to before I had started on my walking routine.
