Walking and Jogging should be daily practice because it is comparatively less strenuous running on the other hand can be done on alternate days or up to 4 times a week.

I have tried treadmill walking in the past and I have to say that it isn’t as effective as outdoor walk. There are several factors such as lack of fresh air which is a disappointment in treadmill walking.

This is a technique used by marathon runners to ensure that they do not run out of breath before finishing. I wouldn’t call it meditation but simply breath control.

Vitamin supplements such as B12 are essential when you do for a long walk, if one has vitamin deficiency they cannot walk for a long time. Probiotics improve gut health and a good gut health means improved athletic performance.

I started to build my cardio during the pandemic through a cycling machine that I purchased, it was very useful in increasing my stamina which is the sole reason I am taking such long walks nowadays.

I walk on an empty stomach because if I eat before my walk, my stomach really cramps up but I do hydrate a lot. Rather than having water I prefer electrolyte drinks such as Prime or Gatorade.

I wear hoodies to walk because I am really intolerant to the cold weather and especially the mornings are much colder so warm clothes are comfortable clothing compared to track suits in my opinion.

Just like people listening to motivational songs and music in the gym, we listen to peaceful music and even sometimes slow songs to feel relaxed while walking, it negates the feeling of loneliness when we walk alone.
