    Doesn’t audio books distract us when walking, because when you listen to music it’s a whole other thing. You can vibe to the song when you walk but the same cannot be done with audio books.

    I don’t believe that exercises can increase your height. Trust me I am a short person, I’ve tried n number of exercises and stretches but it did not have any effect on my height.

    Walking slowly has never been my thing, I feel everybody has their own pace, walking slower or faster is the real challenge.

    I take with me a bottle of Gatorade, my wallet, mobile along with my headphones. I tend to not carry heavy bags with lots of things.

    Better to get it checked out, because shortness of breath can be a symptom of multiple life threatening conditions.

    I prefer walking clothes with tight fitting because it helps me maintain a good posture while walking.

    My goal for this month is to increase my walking distance by two miles. I try to walk a long distance but I can never stay consistent.

    Regular exercise such as walking will increase hormones such as endorphins and other natural brain chemicals which will reduce stress and anxiety.

    Walk on varied terrain. If you’re walking on rocky or varied terrain, your feet have to move at different angles, which engages muscles. Be sure to take intervals if you are unable to walk continuously.

    Better safe than sorry, try to avoid walking during the night and at a secluded site.

    Additionally walking has shown to reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. It is also proved that middle-aged and older people with early signs of memory loss raised their cognitive scores after they started walking frequently.

    I try to shuffle the places I walk to improve my muscle strength. Sometimes walk on inclined place.

    Does walking increase testosterone levels in men?? because I thought one can increase the testosterone levels either by lifting weights or taking supplements.

    I drink a whole glass of carrot juice before I go on a walk because it give me a boost of energy and negates any feeling of tiredness.

    True, taking long walks can improve one’s cardiovascular fitness and increase one’s bone density thereby extending the life.
